P2(Pro-2) Construction has been created as the next level in skateboard decks. P2 technology includes an oval shaped fiber reinforcement to the 7 layers of maple. It enhances pop and preformance and spreads stress and loads throughout the deck versus only around the area of the trucks. P2 decks are lighter and thinner than old fashioned wood, the armid fiber used to make the p2 decks is expensive but spring loaded pop is priceless.
